Having tried everything else, Akpos decide to return to his home town to contest as a member of the House of Assembly. The following conversation occur:
PARTY CHAIRMAN: Yes Mr Akpos. What can we do for you?
AKPOS: Thanks Mr Chairman, as a good citizen of my Country, I have decided to represent my people in the House of Representative.
PARTY CHAIRMAN: Can you tell us why you think you are very qualified for this position on our party platform?
AKPOS: Good question sir, I have climbed 1,000 gates higher than the current National Assembly gate.
PARTY CHAIRMAN: Yes Mr Akpos. What can we do for you?
